Young Bartenders Can Now Apply for the Mentorship Program

For many years, Jägermeister has been supporting the global bar culture with the international bartender network Hubertus Circle and promoting talent behind the bar. The coveted Jägermeister Scholarship x Virtual Edition is now open again: from 14 April to 26 May 2025, young bartenders can apply for the program via the Hubertus Circle website (www.hubertuscircle.com). Applicants should be between 21 and 35 years old and live in one of the 18 countries of the Hubertus Circle.

The Jägermeister Scholarship offers 10 to 15 talented bartenders the unique opportunity to develop their personal style, learn from experienced mentors and exchange ideas. Each year there is a huge demand for one of the coveted places: There were 269 applications for 2024 alone. To be selected, the person must be actively working in a bar and already have some knowledge of drinks and the industry.

The three-month mentorship program will take place digitally from September to November 2025, allowing bartenders to continue working in their establishments. Jägermeister Global Brand Ambassador Nils Boese will regularly be present to support the participants. Additionally, international experts will share their knowledge in keynotes and workshops during the masterclasses. Creative challenges and project tasks are also part of the program. In addition to creating new drinks, this also means developing a bar tool or drink booklet. “The Jägermeister Scholarship is a great opportunity to accompany and support young bartenders on their career path. It creates not only unforgettable experiences but also a strong network that extends far beyond the scholarship. Participants help each other and form a community that is incredibly valuable for bartenders,” says Nina Eggeling, Senior Manager Global Culture & Experiential Marketing, Mast-Jägermeister SE. Upon successful completion, participants automatically become members of the Hubertus Circle.

Kelvin Mwiti, HERO BAR, Nairobi, Kenya, participated in the 2024 scholarship and says in retrospect: “I am incredibly impressed by the comprehensive nature of the program. It’s exciting to see how it merges creativity, craftsmanship, and community-building within the bartending world. This program seems like a unique platform for personal growth and professional development, offering experiences that go beyond just making great drinks.”

All interested parties can follow the entire scholarship on the Hubertus Circle website and on the Instagram channel (@hubertus_circle_). More about the Jägermeister Scholarship and participation information can be found under The Scholarship – Hubertus Circle.

About Jägermeister

Today’s famous premium herbal liqueur was launched more than 80 years ago by Curt Mast. The recipe of 56 herbs, blossoms and roots has remained unchanged to this day. From here, the herbal liqueur in the distinctive bottle is exported to more than 150 countries worldwide. The family-owned company employs around 1,000 people worldwide.

Since 2020, the brand portfolio now also includes Teremana, the tequila brand founded by Hollywood actor and entrepreneur Dwayne Johnson, and GIN SUL, which is produced in Hamburg-Altona.
