New Technology for the Production of Our Iconic Bottle

Our iconic green bottle remains the same. The way it is produced is evolving.

Together with our partner Ardagh Glass Packaging Europe, we produce around 14 million of our iconic 0.7-litre green glass Jägermeister bottles each year using the innovative NextGen Furnace technology. Initial expert-reviewed evaluations from serial production indicate that CO₂ emissions generated during the glass melting process can be reduced by approximately 60% compared to conventional manufacturing methods.

The bottles are manufactured at Ardagh’s plant in Obernkirchen, using a hybrid melting furnace that combines electricity and natural gas. Approximately 60% of the energy used comes from electricity generated from renewable sources. The CO₂ reduction results are currently undergoing final verification.
