Our labels & shipping cartons

We are constantly working on a sustainable and more efficient use of packaging materials. By 2023 our goal is to use 100 percent recyclable or reusable packaging. Step-by-step we are getting closer to this goal:

Since 2022 we have been using 100 percent recycled paper for our bottle labels, saving more than 66 per cent more in CO² emissions compared to before. Our 500 million labels are also produced and printed in Germany.

As part of a holistic and interdisciplinary procurement project, our transport packaging was optimised in 2022, By switching from solid cardboard to corrugated board, the weight was able to be reduced significantly and the amount of resources required for the production of the cartons was able to be reduced by half, without any loss of stability. Since 2023 we have also been purchasing these boxes exclusively from German family businesses.
